Our interview with Cathy and Steve went really well this
weekend. They are the sweetest couple and were so welcoming. It was a wonderful
first interview to have done. When we got there we all started unloading and
then while everyone was setting up I kept Cathy and Steve company and got them
talking about their lives and tried to get them to open up even before they got
on camera. Before we left for the day we were able to get some B-roll as well,
so all in all it was a very productive Saturday. Yesterday we did two more
interviews! We went downtown and interviewed a man named Doug and then went to
campus to interview one of the Gerontology professors. Both of those interviews
went exceptionally well and I am so happy with how nicely everything is already
coming together. I feel like we are already getting some great interviews that
I am eager to see how it will all come together. On Friday the group has
another interview with the other Gerontology professor, but I wont be able to
be there because I am headed off for spring break early. I will be interested
to see the footage from that when I get back!
